FAA pathway navigation
Certification and acceptance routes mapped against your existing approvals, so you invest in the delta rather than repeating the whole journey.
Sectors · Aviation safety & compliance
FAA certification, safety systems, and the compliance pathways US aviation suppliers and operators require.
The challenge
EASA and CAA heritage helps in America — and transfers less than most suppliers expect. FAA certification, airport procurement and airline supplier programmes each run on their own clock, with their own gatekeepers.
The spending is real: airport modernisation, safety systems, training, ground operations, sustainability. Reaching it requires the right sequence — certification, reference, scale — with the right people vouching at each step.
What we unlock
Certification and acceptance routes mapped against your existing approvals, so you invest in the delta rather than repeating the whole journey.
Introductions to the operators, authorities and integrators who buy — including direct experience in US airport and route development.
The maintenance and operations organisations where safety and compliance products are actually adopted.
Making your safety case in the language US aviation buyers and regulators expect.
The method, applied
Think slow: we map the certification delta and the buyer landscape before you commit to the US programme.
Act fast: our partners’ airport and route-development relationships shorten the path to the operators who decide.
Win big: become the specified, certified supplier — the position incumbents defend and references create.
Asked often
Does EASA certification transfer to the FAA?
Bilateral agreements ease validation for many products; they don’t make it automatic. The practical question is the size of the delta, and it varies by product category.
How do we sell to US airports?
Through public procurement, engineering consultants and operator relationships — usually in that order of formality. The consultant who writes the specification is often the real first customer.
How long does this take?
Certification-dependent products commonly need one to two years to first revenue. The work is to run certification and relationship-building in parallel.
If what you build is proven at home and under-realised here — we should have a conversation. AXEL assesses fit before committing. The conversation is the first step, not the commitment.
